FAQs and preparation
Common questions, preparation guide, what to expect during your visit, and important safety information.
Before you arrive
Before treatment, you complete a detailed health form so we can flag possible contraindications, answer questions and confirm suitability.
Your comfort matters
What first-timers
want to know
Most new clients have questions before their first visit. Here’s what you can expect: no surprises, no discomfort, and complete privacy throughout.
Does it hurt?
Water flows gently at body temperature. Treatment does not proceed if placing the speculum is painful, and you may choose to place it yourself.
Is it embarrassing?
The closed system means no mess and no odour. You’re fully covered with modesty draping throughout, and you can pause or stop at any time. Our private en-suite is yours afterwards.
Is it safe?
All equipment is single-use and disposable. You complete a detailed health form first so possible contraindications can be checked.
What should I wear?
Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a large towel. You’ll have complete privacy before, during and after treatment.
What if I feel unwell?
Mild bloating or fatigue after treatment is normal and usually passes within hours. Call us on 020 8684 3888 if anything concerns you.
What’s included?
Your appointment includes consultation, treatment, use of the private en-suite and personalised aftercare guidance. Please bring your own large towel.
Professional health consultation
What to expect during a typical visit
The visit is paced calmly, with privacy before, during and after treatment. You stay in control throughout.
You’ll complete a detailed health form and we’ll talk through any concerns. Treatment only goes ahead once suitability is clear.
You’ll lie comfortably while the treatment runs for around 45 minutes. Gentle abdominal massage is offered, and a few clients decline. You’re in control the entire time.
You’ll freshen up in our private en-suite, then we’ll share personalised dietary and lifestyle guidance based on your results.
Your journey
How many sessions
will I need?
The optimum number of sessions depends on your individual needs. Soaking starts the loosening process of impacted waste, and this benefit is lost when sessions are too widely spaced.
Those with chronic conditions may need more frequent sessions until regularity is achieved. Based on experience, we’ll advise on what to do next. Sometimes the slightest diet change can improve regularity.

Weight loss & digestive health
When digestion is sluggish, the body can struggle to process and eliminate waste efficiently, which may contribute to weight gain. Supporting digestive health through colonic irrigation, alongside our Clinical Weight Loss programme, takes a whole-body approach.
Before your visit
How to prepare
Please ensure lemon juice is not contraindicated with any medication you take.
Slice one organic lemon and liquidise with skin and pips in 500ml filtered water. Sieve, add a litre of water, and drink one glass per hour using a straw.
Porridge for breakfast. Large salad with protein and a small amount of carbohydrate for lunch and supper.
Avoid eating for at least two hours before your appointment. Light hydration is fine.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and bring a large towel. Allow 75–90 minutes for your complete visit including consultation.
Avoid alcohol, strenuous exercise, caffeine, and rich or spicy foods for at least 24 hours. Drink plenty of filtered water throughout the day.
Most clients feel lighter immediately. Some experience mild bloating or fatigue for a few hours. This is normal. Bowel movements typically resume within 24–48 hours.
Please keep in touch and call us on 020 8684 3888 if anything concerns you.
